Following changes in legislation and procedures the safeguarding children and also the safeguarding adults policies and procedures required a full review. The new Safeguarding Policy and Procedures addresses safeguarding children and adults in a single document covering the additional areas that include, domestic abuse, child sexual exploitation, Prevent, forced marriage, honour based abuse, modern slavery, human trafficking and female genital mutilation (FGM).
