The purpose of the cabinet report is to approve the draft Two Waters Masterplan for public consultation.
The masterplan includes detailed evidence to support development within four areas identified in the plan area and the wider plan area. The report provides a plan for building design, transport and movement, land uses, and, open space and sustainability. With these themes in mind, it sets key proposals, design guidance, and development requirements for each of the four sites, and overarching guidance principles for the wider area.
The masterplan is being taken through the Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) planning process in order that it can be adopted as an SPD alongside the new Single Local Plan in 2019.
