The Council have been utilising Lone Worker
Devices for a number of years to ensure the safety of employees,
especially employees who work alone or work at risk.
The Council have utilised the same provider for a number of years
so it was decided to tender the opportunity to allow us to review
the market and ensure we are obtaining value for money.
The Council carried out an OJEU compliant tender process looking at
both price and service delivery. Skyguard’s solution
evidenced as part of the tender process that their solution was
best fit for the Council and also provided the best value for money
solution of all the tender submissions received.
To award a 3-year contract with the option to
extend for a further 2 years to Skyguard Limited for the Supply of
Lone Worker Devices.
The Council have been utilising Lone Worker
Devices for a number of years. A decision was made by the Corporate
Management Team to roll the devices out corporate wide as part of a
review on Health
