The deed of clarification is intended to
confirm the contractual relationship between Thames Water and the
Council and confirms that the Council has been acting as agent on
behalf of Thames Water collecting water charges on their behalf
during the duration of the contract.
To enter into a deed of Clarification and
Amendment to an agreement dated 1st April 2002 made between Dacorum
Borough Council and Thames Water Utilities Limited.
None - any other option other than entering
into the deed would increase the risk of the Council being legally
challenged.
