Agreement to consult with staff on the proposed changes to employee terms and conditions as set out in the appendix to this report and to proceed with the associated revisions to waste collection rounds noting that the Assistant Director Neighbourhood Delivery will consult with the Portfolio holder about any changes to the proposal that arise through the staff consultation process.
Background to report:
Route revision involves revising waste collection routes to be as efficient as possible taking into account for example demographic growth and service changes that have occurred over time. It also proposes new terms and conditions for staff and a new method of working. Residents will have changes to collection days but no change to service levels.
