Request to extend the current Community Alarm Monitoring Service for a six month period to allow the Council to:
• Carry out a pre-procurement market engagement with suppliers on developments within the market and any new innovations and provisional costs;
• Obtain input from tenants;
This will allow sufficient time to shape the specification and allow for both the tender period and any lead-in time if there is a change of supplier.
The current contract is due to expire in June 2022, by extending for six months it will end in December 2022.
