13/06/2019 - Approval to award contract for replacement HR System. ref: 947    Recommendations Approved

The requirement to replace the current HR system with a new HR system solution that
offers wider and more efficient functionality that will assist the Council in achieving
both operational and strategic elements of the Council’s People Strategy as well as
achieving wider efficiencies through standard processes, embedded workflows and
automation. The new system will provide self-service facilities that will empower
managers and employees to become more self-sufficient and accountable.
Additionally, there are significant issues with the current HR system including IT
compliance issues which have been graded as high risk.
