The minutes of the meetings held on 2^nd June 2025 were agreed.

The Sub-Committee were required to consider objections to 2 temporary event notices (TENs) under the Licensing Act 2003.

Decision

The Sub-Committee accepted the objections from the responsible authorities as valid and persuasive, supported by the evidence and historical context presented.

The Sub-Committee found that:

o   The risk of public nuisance and crime and disorder was significant and had not been adequately addressed.

o   The Applicant failed to demonstrate comprehensive measures to mitigate noise, crowd control, and site security issues.

o   The site’s access constraints and lack of infrastructure posed unacceptable risks to public safety.

Accordingly, the Sub-Committee unanimously resolved to issue counter-notices in respect of both Temporary Event Notices, thereby preventing the events from taking place.
